Management Information
A key area of advantage for St Andrew's is in its management information capabilities. Many of our competitors utilise systems made up of a number of different units designed over different periods of time and added together to form a whole.
The result is often inconsistency in reporting not just of sales but key financial data. A common area is in the premium and commission figure being different depending on whether the report is produced by the 'finance' system or the 'premiums' or the 'ledger' system. This makes monitoring and managing performance unnecessarily difficult.
St Andrew's does not experience this problem because all the information is captured and therefore taken from just one system. St Andrew's reports contain consistent data utilising SAS for data analysis.
